1:1 School Registered Nurse - Part Time Transportation Support (Summer Contract)

Hours: Split Shift (Monday-Friday),10 hours per week
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Compensation: $65/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking two qualified and reliable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide transportation-based 1:1 medical support for students participating in summer programming. Nurses will accompany Out-of-District (OOD) students to ensure safe travel to and from their educational placements.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 nursing care during student transportation

Monitor student health status and respond appropriately to any medical needs

Ensure student safety throughout transit

Follow individualized healthcare plans and emergency protocols for seizure disorder

Communicate effectively with families, transportation staff, and program teams

Maintain accurate documentation of care as required
Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts required)

Experience with pediatric, school-based, or special education populations preferred

Ability to work independently in a 1:1 setting

Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Reliable and punctual with the ability to adapt to changing schedules
